CYM Youth Basketball League 2006/2007 Season

Requirements for Player Eligibility

This league is an outreach of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. The main objective of this league is to offer to as many Catholic young people as possible the opportunity to play, grow, and develop in a  healthy and competitive environment within this basketball league.Each player, coach, and team is to perform honorably, striving to glorify God with hard work and conscientious development and use of the talents and gifts with which they have been blessed. The philosophy of this league is to build the kingdom of God among us one player and one game at a time.

All players must be registered members of a parish.

All players will be actively enrolled and participating in a CCD religious education program or Catholic School in order to maintain eligibility to play in the diocesan basketball league.

We pray …then we play.

Certain exceptions will be permitted with approved eligibility waivers.

Waiver forms are available on our website to be submitted with pastor’s approval. Discretion is advised in their use based on the main objective of the league.
