Diocesan Youth Mass
A roving event that occurs quarterly. Youth from all over the Diocese of Metuchen get together on a Sunday evening for Liturgy , music, speakers , and refreshments.
CYM Athletics
Basketball
265 teams and growing. The league runs from December through March each winter.
Cheerleading
Several parishes in the Diocese of Metuchen have squads of cheerleaders who compete with other parishes at regional competitions for trophies and prizes. Some have cheering squads who cheer at their parish sporting events. Many squads do both.

These workshops are offered several times per year both in the Diocesan Conference Center and on the road in the parishes.

National Conference
This event occurs biannually for the youth of our nation. On alternating years the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry Conference occurs in cities throughout the nation for training and development for adults engaged in ministering to the youth of our Church.
November 8-11 in Columbus, Ohio
Join 20,000 young people from all over our nation as we travel and gather in Ohio for four days of fellowship and great fun. NCYC makes for memories of a lifetime and includes great speakers, music, Steve Angrisano, comedy, concerts, faith sharing, fun, exhibitors, prayer, worship, a huge Mass, and lots of fun.
Busses will leave from Somerset and Annandale very early on May 8 and return Sunday night, May 11.

Discount Theme Park Tickets
The Office of Youth Ministry offers discount tickets to the following theme parks:
- Six Flags Great Adventure
- Six Flags Hurricane Harbor
- Six Flags Wild Safari
- Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom
- Somerset Patriots Baseball
(Only during special promotional events throughout the season)
These tickets are usually considerably less expensive than you would pay at the ticket window. Many parishes have taken advantage of these deals to reward their altar servers with a trip to one of these parks with tickets obtained through the Youth Ministry Office.

Camp K.I.D.S.
"Kindness In Daily Service"
An annual summer camp hosted by the Office of Youth Ministry to offer youth the blessing and opportunity to give of themselves in both time and talent. Teens spread the love of Christ by spending a week serving others in the inner cities .
Festival Days
