Hispanic Youth Pentecost Vigil Celebration

Mission Trip to Sister Diocese - Santa Rosa , Guatemala
June 29 – July 6, 2008
A seven day work / study / prayer experience intended to provide loving outreach to the people of our sister diocese of Santa Rosa , Guatemala . Help with work projects, tour local villages, visit local youth and families and create memories of a lifetime. For ages 16 and above.

Ten Day Package Costs Double Occupancy: $3,400
Package Includes: Round trip airfare from NYC to Sydney, all airport taxes and fees, chosen hotel lodging, breakfast daily, WYD registration fees, Youth in Europe assistance upon arrival and departure in Sydney.
Does Not Include: Passport fees (visa fees have been waived), gratuities, beverages.
Tentative Itinerary:
- July 12th, 2008 Depart JFK for Los Angeles to Sydney
- July 13th // Crossing the International Date Line
- July 14th // Arrive Sydney, Check-in to accommodation
- July 15th // Morning free, Opening ceremonies begin this afternoon
- July 16th // Morning catechesis, WYD events
- July 17th // Morning catechesis, Welcoming ceremonies with our Holy Father
- July 18th // Morning catechesis, WYD events
- July 19th // Morning pilgrimage to Randwick Racecourse, evening vigil with our Holy Father
- July 20th // Morning Mass with our Holy Father, pilgrimage back to accommodations
- July 21st // Depart Sydney for Los Angeles

World Youth Day has published the prices for the registration packages. At today’s exchange rates, the $280 we have budgeted is enough to cover the registration costs as well as the Vatican solidarity fee. We will update you periodically with current airline taxes and fees. These can fluctuate until your trip is paid in full.
Package includes:
Roundtrip airfare from NYC to Sydney.
The precise dates of departure and return are subject to airline capacity and availability. The confirmation of space on flights will take place 10 months prior to departure.
World Youth Day registration.
Youth in Europe will register your group for WYD through the official WYD website and make the payments as required by WYD, including the Vatican’s solidarity fee. WYD registration is not included in the free packages.
Transportation in Australia
Breakfast at your place of lodging, all meals provided by WYD during WYD week
